Questions to ask before buying any NAD+ product

A checklist for a category with more marketing than evidence.

1. Which compound is it?

NAD+, NMN or NR. If the page will not say, that is your answer.

2. How much per serving?

Not per bottle.

3. How many servings a day?

Needed to work out cost per day and to compare with any research.

4. What else is in it?

The full list, not just the actives.

5. What evidence is claimed, and in what?

Human trials, animal work, or cells in a dish.

6. Are the claims authorised?

For NAD in Great Britain, there are no authorised health claims. Confident benefit language is a warning sign.

7. Who should not take it?

A page with no contraindications has probably omitted them rather than established there are none.

8. How should it be stored?

Especially for liquids.

9. What happens if it does not suit you?

Returns policy, before you buy.

We would rather you asked these than bought on impulse. A customer who understands what they have purchased is easier to keep.
